We are in Job and will be looking at the hiddenness of God. In our readings, God hides himself in Job's suffering: he calls out to God but God does not answer him quickly. In our Gospel reading, the risen Jesus walks with his disciples, but their eyes are kept from seeing him until he breaks the bread. What can we or should we do when God hides himself? We surrender with a humble trust and wait patiently on him in the midst of things we don't understand.
