FAMILY MINISTRIES
MISSION: TO HELP CHILDREN INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOR AND TO PARTNER WITH AND EQUIP PARENTS ON HOW TO PASS THE FAITH ON TO THEIR CHILDREN.
“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” DEUTERONOMY 6:5-9
PARENTS
Mission: To partner with and equip parents on how to pass the faith on to their children, as they are the primary disciple makers in their homes.
Moms Rekindled
Moms Rekindled’s mission is to encourage and foster fellowship and friendship to all mothers, connecting them with the power and love of Jesus Christ. We’re focused on “kindling” the light of Jesus inside of us as we navigate motherhood together.
We welcome you to join us for weekly in-person meetings beginning on Wednesday, September 10th, meeting at the same time as the Lil’ Sparks preschool program from 9:40-11:20am.
We have speakers on many topics, crafts, small group breakout sessions, Bible study, and the joy of fellowship. Women in any stage of motherhood have a purpose at Moms Rekindled, so please consider joining our group. The cost for the year is $40. Please type Moms Rekindled in the MEMO field when you submit payment.
This year we are offering a rebate for Lil Sparks tuition where in December we’ll send out a check for $100 to those who’ve had regular attendance to Moms Rekindled.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
At Redeemer Lutheran Church it is our mission that "each child, teen and adult would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior" (Redeemer's Children's Ministry, 2002). It is also one of our prayers that each child/teen would find Redeemer a place of safety. In order to provide as safe and secure environment, to minimize any unwarranted accusation and to provide an environment in which each child can come to know God as loving, compassionate and trustworthy, the following procedures have been adopted.

Mission: To help youth into a relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and to partner with and equip parents on how to pass the faith on to their children.
Middle and High school students, join us in Connect Cafe for fellowship and growing in Gods word together. We will have a light breakfast with all students, and then break into smaller groups, Live wires, which is our 6th and 7th graders, and Switch, which is our 8th-12th graders. Confirmation is intertwined into this discipleship program, and is available for anyone in 8th grade-12th grade.
Live Wires (6th-7th Grade)
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
This Sunday morning program will be working through a 2-year curriculum cycle, while focusing on growing their faith by deepening their understanding of the word of God and understanding who they are in Christ.
Switch (8th-12th Grade)
“I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:16-20
This Sunday morning program will be working through a 3–4-year curriculum cycle, while focusing on growing their faith by diving into the word of God, defending their faith, and understanding who they are in Christ.
This program includes parent involvement (two times a year parents will be invited to attend a class with their child, and there will be monthly assignments to encourage and develop the communication between teens and their parents.
