We will be talking about our mission and calling as God's people, which is to make disciples and seek and save the lost (our Gospel reading). We will also be talking about the means and the process by which we do this - we need a strong united body that has a strong connection to the Lord in order to do this well. If we move forward through pain, we end up getting injured. We need the whole body operating in right relationship with God and each other to accomplish God's mission. (the Hosea passage talks about having right relationship with God, and how he uses pain to teach us)
