Women's Ministry

Daughters of the King

Women's ministry at Redeemer is far reaching. Every time a woman teaches Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, volunteers to bring a meal, helps with Beacon House, CareNet, helps with Celebrate Recovery, volunteers to serve in Mississippi to help with the aftermath of Katrina, takes a mission trip, or many of the other day to day activities, she IS Women's ministry.

Our Daughters of the King is a more visible organization that focuses on Women's Ministry. We chose the name Daughters of the King based on Psalm 46.13 ("The King's daughter is all glorious within; her clothing is of wrought gold").

We are so excited about what we have in store for 2010-2011 and want to introduce you to our team:

Women's Mentoring Program - One focus that our Daughters of the King will be embarking on this year is to develop a mentoring program for women at Redeemer. As you can image this is quite an undertaking that we feel the Holy Spirit is nudging us toward. In September we will give you more details about our plans which will include a leadership training program that will take place before we begin the formal mentoring. We ask for each of your prayers as we begin and ask God if you will be a part – either as a mentor or someone who wants a mentor.
